A local favourite that no Michelin star can beat when it comes to flavour. The BYOB component makes it a nice place to go for large groups with a modest spend.
Upstairs seating is far better than downstairs so have always opted for that. Favourites are Chicken Wings, Kebabs, and King Prawn Chilli (make sure you get KING prawn) -

As the others put it it's a BYOB however I did a takeaway.
The staff are friendly and eager to please, the decor bit old and features and open kitchen.
I tried a Chicken Tikka and a Kadai Chicken - Chicken Tikka was pretty nice and not the red colour variety which seems to be the popular one in London at least but this was was very flavoursome minus the colour. These according to me are two of the classic dishes that gives a complete idea about the culinary style of a joint.
The Kadai Chicken let me down big time, while was sauce was pretty OK, the Chicken Pieces itself looked and tasted unseasoned. Looked as if few boiled chunks of Chicken were tossed into a premixed gravy. A bit more attention to the Chicken could have changed the character of the Dish.
While I was waiting. I saw the owner tending to my chicken tikka and heard him saying in Hindi/Urdu to a staff that "it's a new customer and last thing to do is to serve uncooked Tikka" if had he only checked the Kadai Chicken!
I might choose to go back as it looks like a no frills honest food place. -

Delicious food. One of the best small remote Indian restaurants. We had the Baby Spring Chicken dish which was amazing - juicy, tender and tasty. The staff were very friendly too. The ambiance is basic but the prices are very reasonable, so excellent value for the food.

My family & I have been coming here since it was first opened by the current chefs father many years ago. The food is fresh, vibrant and the spice can be tailored to satisfy your palate on any dish. Their freshly made naan's are second to none. BYOB with no corkage fee just adds to the restaurants appeal. Yes the decor is not the best despite it having been refreshed and yes the toilets are down a flight of stairs and are not pristine. However if you can overlook these minute details you will not be disappointed in your gastronomic experience. The staff are always friendly and efficient, we shall be returning again & again.

I went here last week with my son. It was much cleaner than on previous visits. They are still a BYO place. The staff were friendly, polite, helpful and the food was as good as it gets. Reasonable prices too, near the station, gets busy in the evenings. My only negative comment would be that the toilets are downstairs and a trek away.
